AI-Enabled Workflows — Practical AI for Boise Operations

GeekIT.Pro builds targeted AI features into the operational software you already run. We focus on the places AI demonstrably helps — summarization, routing, classification, and decision support — and we stay out of the places it’s still too unreliable for critical paths.

Where AI Earns Its Keep

  • Summarization — condensing long emails, support threads, contracts, or call transcripts into the parts a person actually needs to act on.
  • Routing and classification — tagging incoming requests, sorting tickets to the right team, or pre-labeling records before a human reviews them.
  • Drafting — first-pass replies, internal write-ups, or status updates that a human edits and sends rather than authors from scratch.
  • Retrieval-augmented answers — in-app search that quotes from your real documents, with citations the user can verify.
  • Decision support — flagging anomalies, suggesting next steps, or surfacing relevant prior cases — with the human keeping the call.

Where We Don’t Use AI

Critical paths where a wrong answer is expensive. Anywhere accuracy needs to be 100%. Workflows where a deterministic rule, query, or function would do the job. We treat AI as one tool among many, not the answer to every problem — and we’re honest about what it can and can’t do today.

How We Build It

We integrate models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and other providers into Laravel applications using the Laravel AI SDK. Prompts and structured outputs are versioned in your codebase. Sensitive data stays inside your environment. Costs are observable. Failures are graceful — if the model is down or the response is malformed, the workflow falls back to a sensible default rather than breaking.

When a workflow benefits from local or open-weight models, we can use those too. The choice depends on the privacy, cost, and quality requirements of the specific feature.
